Water-scarce areas can be identified from geology, meteorology, water installations, and drought conditions in the area. All of these aspects found Kulon Progo Regency. The aim this research is to identify scarcity Regency determine priorities for building up some deep wells. There are four parts method that used study, there geological aspect interpreted based on geological, hydrogeological, groundwater basin maps, meteorological using balance index, distribution installation analyzed PDAM data, information collection interview. Based a study identification with hydrogeological parameters, drought, SPAM, Interviews, it was 181 hamlets having water-scarce 35 villages 11 sub-districts both covering drilled cannot drilled. number selected drilling 104 hamlets. 1st priority 37 hamlets, 21 helmets 2nd priority, 46 3rd priority.
